"Today we had a new roof installed by Golden Shield Roofing, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! The roof and all of the details on it look amazing! From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. The process took only a few weeks, and communication was outstanding every step of the way. While Golden Shield was not the least expensive of the four quotes we received, I was thoroughly impressed with the warranty, quality of materials, and the time Greg spent inspecting our roof (including going into our attic to check for water damage) and walking me through everything before providing a quote. He was on-site both full days — not just checking in, but genuinely present. He walked me through the entire process, and every time his crew found a bad square, he made sure I knew exactly where it was and physically showed it to me. When we traced the failures back to gutter issues, he didn't just note it in a report — he offered to install additional gutters at material cost only, and added caps on my vent pipe and chimney. When debris had fallen into my attic, he looked at it and said, "Oh no, that's not alright" — and offered to vacuum and clean both attic spaces. That kind of ownership is rare. "We had our roof replaced yesterday with Golden Shield Roofing. We researched and met with a few roofing companies and chose Golden Shield after meeting with Matt because of how knowledgeable, confident, and straightforward he was when explaining his plan for our roof and what it would cost. The supplies and the dumpster came like clockwork. His crew showed up at the time he estimated and got right to work- after checking in with us- moving any outdoor furniture and laying/hanging tarps to protect our plants, decks, and yard.
